Bull Bay Tragedy: Murder-Suicide Leaves Four Children Without Parents

 A devastating case of domestic violence has left four young children orphaned following what police have confirmed to be a murder-suicide in Stable Park, Cane River, Bull Bay, late Friday night.

According to official reports, 25-year-old Kadane Blackstock, a cashier, was found dead with a severe wound to her neck, while 50-year-old Rohan Edwards, her partner, was discovered hanging from a tree behind their home. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the Kingston Public Hospital.

What Happened

Residents say the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., when they heard disturbing screams coming from the couple’s home. Upon arrival, the police found four young children inside the house and later discovered Blackstock’s body in a pool of blood at the rear of the premises. Edwards was later found deceased nearby, in what police say was a clear case of suicide by hanging.

The children, who are now without both parents, were reportedly unharmed physically and are now in the care of authorities.

History of Domestic Issues

According to police intelligence, the couple had a history of arguments and physical altercations. Several formal reports had previously been made at the Bull Bay Police Station, and law enforcement had recently intervened.

It is understood that Blackstock had relocated from the shared home with police assistance on Thursday, following another domestic dispute. However, she reportedly returned on Friday to check on her children when another confrontation occurred, leading to her death.
